Working at a Car Factory in Germany

My uncle Hans works at a large car factory in Germany. The factory is very modern and uses a lot of new technology.

Hans always starts his work at seven o'clock in the morning. He never arrives late.

The factory builds cars every day. Large robots often do the heavy work. They move the metal parts very fast.

The robots never sleep, but human workers usually need breaks. Hans often drinks coffee with his team at ten o'clock.

Sometimes, Hans checks the robots on his computer. He always makes sure the machines work perfectly.

On Fridays, the team usually has a big meeting. They talk about the week and plan for the next days.

Does the factory close on the weekend? Yes, they usually stop the machines on Sundays for maintenance.

Do you have a big factory in your town?
