Lucas is a cheerful man who runs a small, cozy café in a beautiful mountain village. The café is famous for its delicious hot chocolate and sweet apple pies. Local people and travelers always feel welcome in this warm place.
Every morning, Lucas starts his day with a smile. He wakes up at five o'clock and walks to his café, which is next to his house. He turns on the lights, opens the windows to let the fresh mountain air in, and starts the coffee machine. The sweet smell of fresh coffee quickly fills the room.
At seven o'clock, the first customers arrive. Mr. Gable, a retired teacher, always sits near the window and reads a book. He drinks black coffee and eats a warm croissant. Do you want more hot water, Mr. Gable? Lucas asks. Yes, please, Mr. Gable replies with a smile.
