The Routine of a Marine Biologist

Emma is a marine biologist. She studies sea turtles in the warm blue ocean. She usually wakes up very early, before the sun rises.

She takes her small white boat to the beautiful coral reef. She often spends many hours in the salt water. She watches the sea turtles and writes notes in her waterproof book. Sometimes, she swims with friendly dolphins and colourful fish. She never touches the wild animals because it is against the nature park rules.

At noon, she usually eats her simple lunch on a quiet sandy beach. She rests under a tall green palm tree for an hour. Then, she goes back into the water to take more photos.

Every evening, she returns to her small wooden house. She cooks dinner and sends her new research to the big university.
