Saturday at the Farmers Market
On Saturday morning, my mother and I visit a lively farmers market in the main square. The market is full of friendly farmers and colorful stalls.
We stop at a fruit stall to buy fresh produce. A farmer offers us a sweet peach and an orange. The orange is juicy and delicious. At an organic vegetable stand, we pick up a head of lettuce and an onion for soup.
Finally, we visit a bakery stand. The baker sells a fresh loaf of sourdough bread and an apple pie. We carry our heavy bags back home with a smile.
