Can You Help Me in the Kitchen?
On Sunday morning, our family prepares a special lunch together. My mother calls from the kitchen: "Can you help me in the kitchen, please?"
"Yes, of course I can!" I reply. First, my mother asks: "Can you wash the red apples and peel two carrots?" I can wash vegetables easily, so I rinse them under the cold tap. Next, my little brother asks: "Can I cut the bread?" My mother smiles and says: "No, you can't use the sharp knife, but you can set the table with napkins and spoons."
Working together in the kitchen is delightful. We finish cooking early and enjoy our homemade vegetable soup.
