Grandma Stays for the Weekend
This Friday, my grandmother arrives at our house for the weekend. She travels by train from her village. We are very excited to see her.
Grandma brings homemade strawberry jam in a glass jar. It is sweet and fresh. She sits in the armchair and tells us funny stories from her childhood. My brother listens attentively. He laughs at her jokes and shows her his school drawings.
On Saturday, we bake an apple pie together. My parents help in the kitchen. They prepare dinner while Grandma bakes. We enjoy having her with us.
