My Weekend in the City
Last Saturday, my family traveled to the capital for a weekend excursion. We arrived early in the morning and began our sightseeing walk.
Our first stop was the historical art museum. Its grand stone facade impressed all of us. Inside, my mother admired her favorite Renaissance paintings. My father took photos with his new digital camera, capturing its marble columns and glass ceiling. My brother bought a postcard in its souvenir shop.
In the afternoon, we ate lunch in our favorite rooftop cafe. Our waiter recommended his specialty dessert: warm apple tart with vanilla ice cream. We loved our exciting day in the city.
