The Bus Broke Down While We Were Travelling to the Coast
I am Sara. Last month my friends Tom and Anna and I took a coach to the coast for a weekend by the sea. We booked tickets online and arrived at the station before seven in the morning.
The bus was full, and many passengers were sleeping as we were leaving the city. Tom was listening to music when Anna was reading a guide about beaches and cliff paths. I was looking out of the window at fields and small villages.
Two hours later the driver was slowing down on a country road near a farm. The engine was making a strange noise when the bus stopped completely. People were waking up and asking what was happening.
The driver was speaking on his radio while we were waiting in our seats.
