Two Friends Remembered Their School Trip
I am Sam. Last month my friend Lina and I sat in her kitchen and looked at photos from our school trip to the coast. The trip happened in May, but the pictures still felt fresh when we spread them on the table.
We took the coach early on a Tuesday morning. Our class teacher Mr Reed sat near the front and counted students at every stop. Lina sat beside me and shared her headphones while we drove through green hills and small towns.
When we arrived, we walked to the beach and felt cold wind on our faces. Some students ran toward the water while others stayed on the sand and built low walls with stones. Mr Reed told us to stay in groups and meet again at the pier at two o'clock.
