Hi Marco,
You wrote last week and asked for details about my last year at college. I wanted to answer properly, so I made a short list of moments that still feel important today.
Last year began in a new flat with two roommates near the campus gate. Six months before that I lived with my parents, so last year was my first long period away from home. The first month felt strange, but last spring the flat began to feel like our own small home.
Last year I started a part-time job in a café on King Street. Three months ago I changed to an evening shift because morning classes became heavier. Last year the manager trusted me to close the till on quiet nights, and that responsibility made me proud.
