Weekend Plans After What Happened Last Week
I am Omar. Last week school felt intense because we had two tests and a late rehearsal for the spring show. Now the weekend is here, and my friends and I want rest, but we also plan small activities that answer what happened last week.
Last week on Tuesday our history test ran longer than expected. Four days ago I studied maps until midnight, and last week the questions still surprised me with a topic we covered only once. Yesterday the teacher returned papers, and I smiled because last week's effort showed in the score.
Last week Mia missed two days with a cold. Three days ago she returned with notes from classmates and a list of homework tasks. Last weekend she slept most of Saturday, yet last week she still joined the rehearsal on Thursday and sang softly near the back row.
