An Interview With Train Steward Candidate Marco
Interviewer: Good morning, Marco. Thank you for coming. This role includes weekend shifts on regional routes. Why will you succeed in busy carriages?
Marco: I worked in a hotel last year and I learned calm speech when guests will arrive tired or confused. I will use the same tone when passengers will ask about stops, delays, or seat numbers during peak hours.
Interviewer: How will you handle safety announcements if noise will rise before departure?
Marco: I will speak slowly and repeat key words when children will talk near the doors. I will check the microphone volume before each journey so messages will stay clear at the rear of the train.
Interviewer: Passengers will sometimes dispute seat reservations. What will you do first?
Marco: I will read the reservation code aloud and I will ask both passengers to show tickets on their phones.
