Saturday Plans That Kept Changing

I am Nora. Last Saturday began with a simple idea: coffee with my cousin Pia, then a walk in the botanical garden. By evening our plans had changed three times, yet the day still felt fun and full.

At nine Pia texted that her train will arrive twenty minutes late because of track repairs near the station. I said I will wait in the bookshop café and I will read until she will message again. The barista said warm croissants will appear at ten if the oven will finish on schedule.

When Pia arrived we decided we will skip the garden because light rain will start before noon. Instead we walked to the indoor market hall where musicians sometimes play near the cheese stalls. Pia said she will buy honey for her mother if the beekeeper will offer small jars at the corner stand.
