Our Family Meeting About the Holiday
I am Victor. On Sunday evening my parents, my sister Alma, and I sat around the kitchen table with maps, budget notes, and half-finished tea. We needed one plan for a five-day holiday in August when schools and work schedules finally align.
Dad opened the talk with train prices to the lake region. He said tickets will rise if we will wait until July to book. Mom suggested a cottage near the forest instead because heat by the water will feel heavy for Alma, who prefers shade when afternoons grow long.
Alma said she will research campsites with clean showers and short walks to village shops. I said I will compare guesthouses online because my colleague will recommend two places he visited with his family last year. Mom said she will call
