Airport Rules: What You Must and Must Not Do
I am Nina. My family flew to Madrid last month, and the airport felt busy from the moment we arrived. A sign at the entrance said all passengers must have a valid ticket and passport. We must not enter the security area without a boarding pass.
At the check-in desk the agent said we must weigh our bags before we print labels. Each passenger must show ID when the staff ask. We have to remove old tags from suitcases so scanners read them clearly.
Mom read a poster about liquids in hand luggage. It said we must put bottles in a clear plastic bag. Each container must not hold more than one hundred millilitres. Travelers have to take the bag out of their case at security.
At security we must empty pockets into a tray.
