Our Weekend Plan Has More Tasks Than Free Time
I am Elena. My brother Luis and I planned a busy weekend because our parents will visit on Sunday evening. We want the house to look nicer than it did last month, but we have more chores than free hours.
On Saturday morning we are going to clean the guest room first. Luis says we should wash the sheets today because Mom always notices any wrinkle on the bed. I will vacuum the floor while he will carry some towels to the laundry.
The garden needs more work than the kitchen. Dad will arrive earlier than Mom, and he loves plants more than any other hobby. We must water the tomatoes and cut some branches near the fence. There are many weeds this year because rain was heavier than usual in March.
