My Friend Called Me After School
I am Leo. Yesterday my friend Mia called me after school because she forgot her maths book at my house. I told her I would bring it to her tomorrow morning before the first lesson.
When Mia called me, I was in the kitchen with my mom. Mom heard me say her name and smiled. She knows Mia well because Mia visited us many times last year.
Mia asked me to check the blue bag near the door. I looked and found the book she needed. I told her I would put it in my backpack tonight so I would not forget it.
After the call, my brother Sam asked me who called me. I told him it was Mia. Sam knows her from football practice on Wednesdays. He said he saw her at the park last weekend.
