Can You Help Us With the Bags?
I am Nina. On Saturday my parents and I went to the market near the river. We bought fruit, bread, and vegetables for the week, but the bags were heavy. My dad asked me, "Can you help us carry them to the car?"
I took two bags and walked beside my mom. She told me to hold the bread carefully because the loaf was soft. A shopkeeper saw us and opened the door for us with a friendly nod.
Near the car we met our neighbours, Mr and Mrs Park. They waved and asked us if we needed help. Dad thanked them and said the bags were fine, but Mrs Park still carried one box to our boot.
Mom asked me to check if we forgot anything on the bench. I ran back and found a small bag with apples.
