Tom Sent Me a Text This Morning
I am Emma. This morning my colleague Tom sent me a text before I reached the office. He wrote that the client changed the meeting time and asked me to confirm the new slot with our manager.
I read the message on the tram and replied that I would call the manager when I arrived. Tom thanked me and said he would prepare the slides if I handled the schedule. We often help each other this way because our desks sit opposite each other on the third floor.
When I entered the building, reception called me to say a parcel waited at the desk. I picked it up and brought it upstairs. Tom saw the box and asked me if the supplier sent the samples we ordered last week.
I opened the parcel at my desk and showed him the contents.
