The School Trip to the British Museum
Yesterday, my class visited the British Museum in London. The building is very large and beautiful. I loved it immediately.
Our guide was very friendly. She met us at the main door. She showed the students the famous Rosetta Stone and explained its long history. We learned a lot about ancient writing.
In the afternoon, my friend Leo lost his small blue bag in the Great Court. A kind guard found the bag and brought it back. Leo thanked him warmly.
At three o'clock, our school bus arrived. We were tired but happy. The museum is a fantastic place, and I want to visit again soon.
