My Busy Saturday at the Park with Friends
I am Mia. Last Saturday I met my friends at the park at ten in the morning, and we stayed there until three in the afternoon. The sun was warm, but a light wind kept us cool on the grass near the lake.
Tom arrived first because he lives on Oak Street, and he likes walking to the park on weekends. He brought sandwiches for us, and he gave me a bottle of water when I forgot mine at home.
Sarah joined us at half past ten on her blue bicycle. She loves riding in the park because the paths are flat and safe. She showed us her new helmet, and we told her it looked bright and fun.
Do you like picnics in the park? I like eating outside, and my friends enjoy sitting on blankets under the trees.
