She Has Been Working at the Café Since March
I am Fiona. My cousin Rosa has been working at Maple Street Café since March, and I visit often because the atmosphere has been welcoming every time I walk through the door.
Rosa has been serving breakfast crowds since the café expanded its morning hours. She has been arriving at six thirty to prepare tables before regulars have been coming in for coffee and fresh pastries. The owner says Rosa has been setting a calm tone the team has been copying during busy rushes.
Since spring she has been training two new baristas who have been learning the espresso machine. Rosa has been showing them how to steam milk while she has been explaining small details guests have been noticing, like remembering names and favorite orders.
I have been watching Rosa grow into the role during my weekend visits.
