Moving Timeline: Boxes, Keys, and New Routines
Relocating to a new residential home disrupts established daily routines and requires weeks of patient unpacking, redecorating, and domestic adjustment. Last month, my partner and I collected the keys to our terraced house on Willow Lane. Looking back at our moving timeline, we can appreciate the immense organizational effort we have invested in transforming an empty brick shell into a comfortable sanctuary since moving day.
We have lived in our new home for exactly four weeks now. Since receiving the keys on the first of October, we have unpacked forty cardboard moving boxes and have assembled all bedroom wardrobes. The living room had remained cluttered with bubble wrap and tape for two weeks, but we have finally organized our book collection and hung framed landscape prints on the walls. In addition, I have
