Hotel Rooms That Are Prepared Before Guests Arrive
I am Amira, a housekeeping supervisor at a city hotel. Before every arrival, rooms are cleaned, checked, and stocked so guests walk into a comfortable space.
Beds are made with fresh linen, and pillows are fluffed evenly. Blankets are folded at the foot of the bed when the weather is mild, and extra covers are placed in the wardrobe during winter months.
Bathrooms are disinfected from top to bottom. Towels are replaced, and small toiletries are refilled. Mirrors are polished, and floors are dried so no slippery spots remain.
Carpets are vacuumed, and hard floors are mopped. Dust is removed from lamps and shelves, and remote controls are wiped with safe cleaners. Windows are opened briefly so fresh air circulates.
Minibar items are counted and are restocked according to a standard list.
