I am Alex. We hosted a housewarming party on Saturday, and on Sunday morning my three roommates and I sat among empty cups recounting what guests had told us. The kitchen smelled of coffee and leftover cake.
Jade said that she had never seen our living room so full. She told me that Mia arrived first with flowers, and she said that Tom had brought speakers that worked perfectly on the balcony. She told us that neighbours had not complained about music.
Rafael told everyone that the curry had disappeared quickly. He said that he had cooked two pots, and he told Jade that vegan options ran out before midnight. He said that he would prepare extra chickpea stew next time.
