Neighbourhood Meeting Notes from March
Twenty-three residents attended the March meeting in the school hall. Chairs were arranged in a circle, and tea was served before discussions began. The chair opened by saying that minutes from February were approved without changes.
First, traffic safety was debated. Speed limits might be lowered near the playground if data supports the request. Signs were damaged last winter, and replacements were ordered by the council. Residents agreed that photos should be taken when cars park illegally.
Next, a community garden was proposed. If enough volunteers join, plots could be assigned in April. Water pipes were inspected recently, and repairs were completed before planting season. Tools might be stored in a locked shed that was donated by a local business.
A noise complaint from River Lane was discussed quietly. Music is sometimes played late on weekends, and warnings were issued twice last month.
