Sorting Out the Shared Kitchen
I am Felix. I share a kitchen with three housemates, and Saturday is our day to clean everything up. We turn the radio on for energy and turn it on while we work.
First I pick the rubbish bags up from the floor and pick them up near the bin. I take the full bags out to the courtyard and take them out before the collection truck arrives. My housemate Lena asks me to wipe the table off and wipe it off after breakfast, so I grab a cloth and wipe the surface off until it shines.
Tom switches the dishwasher on and switches it on with the breakfast plates inside. He tells me to rinse the pans off first and rinse them off because sauce sticks hard. I pick the heavy pan up and pick it up carefully so I do not drop it.
