Pages from My Train Diary
Today, I travel by train across the countryside. I sit near a wide window in a quiet passenger carriage. The train moves smoothly along the silver railway tracks.
Outside, I see a green hill, an old castle, and a white cottage. The castle stands proudly on top of the hill. A river flows next to the railway line, sparkling under the bright afternoon sun.
At noon, a conductor checks my ticket. I open a small backpack and eat an egg sandwich with an apple. Traveling on the train gives me time to write stories in my diary.
