My Uncle Made a Sunday Roast
I am David. Last weekend, my family went to my uncle's house in London. He made a traditional English Sunday roast for us.
We arrived at noon. My uncle bought a large piece of beef from the local butcher. He put it in the oven early in the morning. When we came into the kitchen, the house smelt wonderful. My aunt made Yorkshire puddings and roasted some potatoes.
At two o'clock, we sat at the big dining table. My uncle cut the meat and gave us large portions. We ate the delicious food and drank apple juice. After dinner, we felt very happy.
