Our Class Is Going to Plant a Garden
I am Omar. Our science class is going to plant a garden behind the school this spring. The teacher Ms Lee is going to guide us through every step. We are going to grow vegetables and flowers for the cafeteria.
On Monday we are going to clear weeds from the empty plot. Ms Lee is going to show us how to use gloves and small tools. Four students are going to carry old stones to the side path.
We are going to measure the beds with string and wooden sticks. Priya and I are going to mark rows for tomatoes and beans. The class is going to draw a plan on paper before we dig.
Next week we are going to add fresh soil from the garden centre. Parents are going to drive bags of compost to the gate.
