Our Class Built a Robot
Last month, our science class built a small robot for the school competition. We went to the laboratory every afternoon.
The teacher gave us a box of old computer parts. We took the metal pieces and made a new machine.
At first, we had many problems. The robot fell on the floor, and we felt very sad. We thought it was completely broken.
Then, my friend Leo found a loose wire. He understood the problem and told the teacher. We quickly put the wire back.
On the day of the fair, many students came to the science hall. They saw our robot and thought it was amazing.
The judges went to every table. They chose our robot and gave us the first prize! We got a gold cup.
We won the competition, and we knew we did a good job.
