Our Apartment and Your Room Rules
Sharing our apartment requires clear rules and mutual respect. My flatmate Sophie and I live on the third floor of an old building.
Our flat has a shared kitchen and a living room. Each person is responsible for their own bedroom. In my room, I keep my floor clean and make my bed every morning. In her room, Sophie waters her green houseplants and tidies her wardrobe.
Our landlord visits once a month to inspect the heating system and its pipes. We always follow our house rules: take off your shoes at the door, wash your dishes after meals, and keep your music quiet after ten at night.
