I live in a quiet brick house on Green Lane. Two wonderful neighbors live in the cottage next door.
Their names are Thomas and Clara. He is a retired carpenter, and he builds wooden garden chairs. She is a talented gardener, and she grows organic roses. They often work together in their front garden.
They have a small dog named Toby. It runs across the green lawn and barks happily. In the afternoon, we drink tea on the porch. We talk about the weather and share homemade blueberry cake.
