Choosing Activities for a Rainy Day
Rain changed our plans last Saturday, and my friends and I stayed indoors instead of cycling to the hill outside town. At first we felt disappointed, but we soon found activities that fit the weather and our moods.
Maya loves drawing with ink pens, and she enjoys sketching city scenes from photos on her tablet. She likes working near the window even when rain streaks the glass, because grey light feels calm for detailed lines.
