Things We Have Done This Month
Living in a bustling shared apartment requires constant collaboration, structured planning, and proactive teamwork to keep domestic life comfortable and orderly. October has been an exceptionally productive month for my flatmates, Liam, Maya, and me. Looking at the whiteboard calendar hanging in our hallway, we can proudly appreciate how many collective goals and home maintenance tasks we have accomplished together over the past four weeks.
First, we have completed our long-delayed autumn deep cleaning project. Together, we have scrubbed kitchen tiles, cleaned greasy oven racks, and organized communal pantry cupboards that had accumulated expired spice jars. Maya has sorted through old cardboard boxes in the entrance storage cupboard and has donated surplus kitchenware to a local community charity shop. Liam has repaired the leaking bathroom sink tap, eliminating an annoying dripping sound that had kept us awake at night.
