Marcus and his friend Liam love nature and outdoor adventures. They live in a busy city, but they always spend their winter weekends in the mountains. This regular trip is their favorite activity of the year.
The mountains are very beautiful in winter. The high peaks are white with thick snow, and the pine forests look like a fairy tale. The air is cold, fresh, and completely clean.
Every Friday evening, Marcus and Liam prepare for their journey. They pack their big backpacks very carefully. They put warm jackets, thick gloves, maps, and flashlights inside. They do not forget to bring a first-aid kit.
On Saturday morning, they wake up at five o'clock. Liam drives his car to Marcus's house, and they start their journey. The drive to the mountain park takes about two hours.
They arrive at the trail at seven o'clock and start their hike.
