Our Neighbor Fixed My Bike on Sunday
I am Alex. Last Sunday my neighbor Mr Webb fixed my bike in the garage behind his house. The chain broke on Saturday during a short ride to the park near the river.
On Saturday morning I rode to the river path with a friend from my street. We spent an hour near the water and took photos of boats on the calm surface. On the way home my chain snapped and I had to walk for twenty minutes with the bike beside me.
I rang Mr Webb's bell after lunch when I saw light in his garage window. He heard the bell and came to the door with grease on his hands and a calm smile. He looked at the bike and said he could fix it before evening if the spare parts were in his box.
