Reasons I Do Not Like Waking Up Early
I am Leo. Many people love waking at six and watching the sunrise, but I prefer starting later when my mind feels ready. I hate leaving bed when it is still dark outside, and I dislike hearing alarms repeat every five minutes because the sound feels aggressive.
In winter I especially hate stepping on cold floor tiles before the heating starts. I enjoy staying under warm blankets for ten extra minutes, and I like reading one page of a novel before I stand up. My sister Mia loves morning light, and she enjoys opening curtains early while she sings softly in the kitchen.
Mia likes preparing breakfast before school, and she loves eating yogurt with fruit while she checks messages. I prefer eating later at the cafe near college, and I enjoy sipping tea slowly while I review notes for the first lecture.
