An Email About the Apartment Search
Hi Marcus, I hope you are having a wonderful week and that your new graphic design job is treating you well. I am writing to update you on our apartment search here in Edinburgh, because the rental property market has proved far more competitive than either of us anticipated when we first decided to relocate together.
Over the past three weeks, I have looked at more than twenty different properties online and have attended eight in-person viewings across the city. Finding a two-bedroom flat with reasonable rent and good transport links has tested my patience considerably. I have visited properties in Leith, Bruntsfield, and Stockbridge. While several flats had charming period fireplaces and high ceilings, two of them suffered from dampness, and another had an extremely cramped kitchen that would never fit our dining table.
