Diary Entry Before Starting My Own Business
Sunday, 14 May. Tomorrow marks the official beginning of the biggest entrepreneurial adventure of my entire life. After five years of working as a marketing assistant in a large corporate advertising agency, I am formally launching my independent branding consultancy tomorrow morning. Writing my thoughts in this journal keeps my mind centered amid a mixture of nervous butterflies and genuine excitement. My financial and professional future now depends entirely on my own strategic decisions.
If my first client signs the retainer contract on Tuesday, I will invest in premium project management software and upgrade my graphic design equipment. Having modern digital tools will allow me to deliver polished, high-quality work to corporate clients on tight schedules. If revenue exceeds my conservative targets during the first quarter, I will also hire a freelance web developer to build our interactive agency portfolio website.
