Retelling Emma Email About Her Move
Relocating to a bustling foreign capital to take on an international corporate assignment is an exhilarating life change. Yesterday morning, our design department received a long, cheerful email from our former lead graphic designer, Emma, who transferred to our company's Berlin studio last month. During our coffee break, I read her email aloud so our former teammates could hear how she was settling in.
Emma told us that Berlin was an incredibly vibrant and creative city with an eclectic artistic atmosphere. She said that cycling to work along dedicated bike paths was her favorite part of the day because it allowed her to admire historic street architecture. She explained that her new apartment in Kreuzberg had tall ceilings, wooden floors, and a sunny balcony overlooking a lively community square filled with cafes.
Regarding her work environment, Emma had equally glowing remarks to share.
