Day forty-two on the Space Station. My life in space is very special. People often ask how we live without gravity. Today, I want to describe my daily routine up here among the stars.

My workday starts when our morning alarm plays a cheerful song. I wake up at six o'clock. I do not fall out of bed because my sleeping bag is tied to the wall. I float out of my bag and wash my face with a special wet towel.

At six-thirty, the team eats breakfast together in the kitchen module. We do not eat fresh eggs or bread because crumbs are dangerous for our machines. Instead, we add hot water to dehydrated food bags and drink juice through plastic straws.

From eight to twelve, we work on our scientific experiments. Today, I study how plants grow in space.
