Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. It is a very historical and beautiful place. Every weekend, thousands of tourists visit this city. However, do they see the real Edinburgh? Do locals and tourists do the same things on Saturdays? Let us look at their different routines.
In the morning, tourists always wake up early. They want to see everything. They visit Edinburgh Castle on the hill, walk down the historic Royal Mile, and buy expensive souvenirs. Do they enjoy the castle? Yes, they do! It is very interesting. But where do they eat? They usually go to busy restaurants in the city center.
Locals do not go to the castle on Saturdays. They think it is too crowded. Instead, they sleep a bit longer. They wake up at nine o'clock and walk to small local cafés in their neighborhoods.
