Our Class Cleaned Riverside Park Last Month

I am Priya. I am fourteen and I study at Westbridge School. Last month our class cleaned Riverside Park as a community project. Our teacher Mr Ellis organized the event with the town council.

We met at the park gate on a cool Saturday morning. Twenty students arrived with gloves, bags, and reusable water bottles. The council worker explained which areas needed the most help. She pointed toward the river path and the old playground.

We separated into small teams and started near the main entrance. My team collected plastic bottles and paper cups from the grass. We filled four large bags before we moved toward the benches. The park looked cleaner with every step we took.

Near the playground another group picked up broken toys and old wrappers. They swept sand back into the box under the slide.
