Saturday Market with My Family
On Saturday morning, we wake up early. My family goes to the open-air market in the town center. It is always crowded and lively.
My father loves fresh vegetables. He buys ripe tomatoes and green cucumbers. My mother looks at flowers. She chooses yellow daffodils for our kitchen table. Together, they talk to the friendly shopkeepers.
My little sister and I carry the shopping baskets. We stop at a bakery stall and buy warm cinnamon buns. They smell delicious and taste sweet.
Do you go to the market with your family on weekends? What do you usually buy?
