The New Sports Teacher
This week, a new physical education teacher arrives at our school. His name is Mr. Evans. He is tall, energetic, and very enthusiastic about athletics.
On Monday, we meet him in the gym. He teaches us how to play basketball. He explains the rules patiently and shows us how to bounce the ball. My classmates listen carefully. They practice passing the ball across the court.
Our headteacher, Mrs. Harris, watches from the doorway. She smiles and nods approvingly. We run, jump, and laugh together during the training session. It is a fantastic gym lesson.
