The Town Library
Our town has a public library. It is on Central Avenue, next to the post office. The library is an old stone building. There are tall steps at the entrance. There are big wooden doors at the top of the steps. The doors are open every day from nine in the morning.
Inside the library, there are many rooms. There is a reception desk near the entrance. A friendly librarian sits at the desk. She can help you find any book. There are computers at the reception desk too. You can search for books on the computers.
The ground floor has the fiction section. There are thousands of books on the shelves. The shelves are tall and wooden. There is a ladder on wheels next to each row of shelves. You can use the ladder to reach the books at the top.
