Our Pets: What They Can and Can't Do
Animals have amazing sensory abilities, but their physical skills are very different from humans. In our household, we observe our cat and our dog every day.
Our cat, Bella, can jump onto high bookshelves without making a single sound. She can see clearly in dark rooms, and she can balance gracefully on narrow wooden fences. But she can't swim in cold water, and she can't catch tennis balls.
In contrast, our golden retriever, Max, can swim across wide lakes and retrieve wooden sticks. He can run fast across open fields and track hidden treats with his keen nose. However, Max can't climb trees, and he can't walk quietly on wooden floors.
What pets do you have? What amazing tricks can they do?
