A Guide to Our Street — Moving In and Feeling at Home
Welcome to Maple Street. Our neighbors are friendly and our community is small and close. Here is a short guide to help you settle in.
Come and say hello to your neighbors. You can knock on the door next door in the morning. Do not visit too late in the evening. Bring a small gift if you like — there is a bakery two streets away that has good bread. Introduce yourself at the door. Say your name and tell them where you moved from.
There is a small park at the end of our street. It has benches, trees, and a playground for children. You can take a walk there in the morning. Look at the community board near the park gate. Our street events and notices are posted there.
