Saturday at the Farmers Market
On Saturday morning, our town square transforms into a vibrant farmers market. There are dozens of colorful wooden stalls under white canopies.
At the entrance, there is a fruit stall with wooden crates. There are sweet red apples, juicy pears, and golden plums. Next to the fruit stand, there is an organic dairy booth. There is freshly churned butter and several wheels of sharp cheddar cheese.
Further down the lane, there are vegetable growers selling organic carrots and potatoes. There is also a bakery cart where an artisan baker sells warm baguettes and berry pies. There is always a cheerful crowd of shoppers.
What stalls are there at your local market? Is there fresh fruit?
